Stem Cubes

These stem cubes were designed as a fun way of displaying a variety of stems found around the garden or on walks. They are hand shaped from buff stoneware clay, and are glazed in a matt light stone coloured glaze. The bases are unglazed showing the contrasting clay and my makers mark.

These are great for standing fresh stems in to dry them and for displaying dried flowers. They are not watertight but can be submerged in water and used as a flower frog. They look great on a small shelf, mantlepiece or windowsill. Each item is unique so sizes, shapes and glazes vary slightly.
