Plantology - Terms and Conditions

At Plantology, we are commited to providing a high level of customer service at all times. Please read our terms and conditions carefully, they do not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery

  • We offer a delivery service of our products within the Sheffield area and outlying area.Please ask for a full list of the postcodes we cover. There is a charge which is calculated on the distance of the address. All of this information can be seen on our website.

  • Same day delivery can be honoured as long as your order reaches us before 1pm on that day.

  • At peak times such as St Valentines day and Mothering Sunday, the cut-off time for delivery will be the day before. This is due to the high demand.

  • We only offer timed deliveries for Weddings and Funeral orders, but you can request an AM or PM time slot.

  • Our deliveries usually start at 9am and finish at 2pm.

  • In the event that no-one is in to receive delivery you item will either be left with a neighbour or somewhere we deem safe by our delivery team, unless we have been advised otherwise but the customer. If this cannot be done, the item will be returned to the shop and a contact card put through the door for the recipient to collect. If we are not contacted within 24 hours after the delivery attempt, we cannot be held responsible as we have fulfilled our obligation and no refund will be given. The flowers will still be available to the customer however they may not be as fresh as on the day of delivery.

  • In the event that the customer has given us an incorrect address and you want us to redeliver an additional delivery charge will be added (the same charge as originally quoted).

  • We will always try to make your delivery but in the event of hazardous weather or unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to either cancel your order or delay it. If this happens you will be advised of our decision and given the option of a full refund.

Products

  • Our products and services include; Wedding flowers, Corporate displays Tribute arrangements, Bespoke gift bouquets for any occasion,Plants of interest for home, garden and work, vases and plant pots and other related items such as gifts cards and chocolates. These can all be purchased in store, by phone or on our website.

Substitutions

  • We endeavour to supply your chosen item, however, due to availability when ordering online or in advance, some items we may need to substitute. This will always be done with items of similar value, likeness and quality.

Payment

  • All payments should be made in full before an order can be fulfilled by ourselves. For larger event flowers, deposits will be taken at the time of the order. Please see our Payment Policy for more in-depth information.

  • If you are a business you can request a trade account and after a satisfactory credit check you will be invoiced for purchases. All invoices are due within 30 days of date.

  • Our accepted payment methods are: Cash, Debit/Credit card, BACS and Paypal.

Our Guarantee/returns/complaints

  • Flowers are naturally perishable and we regret that if your complaint is after 7 days it will not be able to be authenticated and we will not be able to refund you. Under the Distance Selling Regulation flowers are a non returnable item and cannot be returned if you change your mind.

  • We guarantee the freshness of our cut flowers for 7 days with the exception of short lived seasonal flowers such: Narsissus, Anemone, Tulips, Cornflower, Saponaria which we guarantee for 5 days.

  • If you have a complaint, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to resolve this in a fair, satisfactory manner, as quickly as possible.

  • If you are not happy with the longevity of any purchase, please get in touch with us and we will work with you to help bring your plant (for example) back to life or work out what’s happened. In most cases, where you are entitled to return the item and ask for a full refund or replacement, this will exclude the delivery cost. The complaint must correspond with the above points. Please be aware, it will be a refund or replacement, not both.

  • For items that are non perishable that are either wrong or faulty, you can return them to the shop in there original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase must be seen at the time of return. We will replace the item with the same or as similar as possible. If the original item is no longer available a full refund will be given.

  • We welcome feedback on what we are doing right or wrong, get in touch as soon as possible. This will give us the opportunity to develop in positive ways.
