RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025
Make it stand out
Plantology Floral Creations are proud to announce that we will be exhibiting at RHS Chelsea Flower Show again this year, we hope to see you there!
Throughout our showcase, we will be raising money for Alzheimer's Research UK. A charity close to our heart.
“Transition" is a captivating floral installation that celebrates the cyclical nature of life. Depicted by the natural world, this arrangement showcases plants and flowers in various stages of development, from delicate seedlings to vibrant blooms and seed-bearing maturity. The design incorporates a diverse range of natural materials, carefully selected to highlight their unique textures and colours. Rough bark, mosses, and lichen-covered branches provide a rustic foundation, while feathery grasses and lacy Ammi add a touch of ethereal lightness. The centrepiece features stunning, silky Ranunculus asiaticus and Geum flowers, symbolising the peak of life's beauty and abundance. As the viewer's eye moves through the arrangement, they witness the journey from nascent life to full bloom and, ultimately, the cycle's renewal. This evocative display invites contemplation on the interconnectedness of all living things and the enduring power of nature.
Inspiration Whilst visual appeal is essential, Transition conveys a personal message too, inspired by looking back through pictures of my late mum. It is a design with purpose beyond simple beauty. Using flora as a narrative tool to celebrate the different facets of a person's life. Choosing to use materials in different stages of development including dried flowers and seedlings with varying textures and colours to create a naturalist inspired design.

Sustainability in our design for RHS Chelsea flower show.
We're actively working towards greater sustainability in our floristry practices at Plantology.
Where possible, we prioritize using British flowers and plants, including those grown locally in Sheffield and our own home-grown selections. This helps us minimize air miles associated with transportation. To complement our local sourcing, we also carefully select beautiful blooms from Europe.
In an effort to reduce our reliance on plastic, we've chosen to use natural, organic fastenings instead of plastic cable ties. We believe these will also enhance the overall texture and aesthetic of our designs.
Furthermore, we are committed to reusing mechanics and accessories. This includes items like bark branches, test tubes, chicken wire, and seed tray containers.
Our structures and frames are increasingly being handcrafted in-house using organic materials such as Sussex grown willow, which can be reused for future creations.
Finally, we are using living plants in our arrangements, providing lasting enjoyment and the opportunity to plant them on after the show.
We are continually looking for ways to become more environmentally conscious in all aspects of our work.
